It is the end of this journey of the Real Road to Wrestemania as we now look at Day 2 of Wrestlemania with observations and predictions:
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn: This is a perfect example of a recycled idea done to death. What is the purpose this time? a conspiracy movie gone wrong by a drifting mid-carder in Sami Zayn against Kevin Owens who is on the way down after his series with Roman Reigns. Who would benefit form this match? I have no clue.
Prediction: Kevin Owens beat Sami Zayn
WWE Intercontinetal Title: Big E vs. Apollo Crews- Apollo’s new attitude as a Nigerian king is refreshing and is a positive step in his career and it brought out a new side in Big E. Big E is now determined to destroy his former friend, but it may cost him the IC Title.
Prediction: Apollo Crews beat Big E to win the Intercontinental Title
United States Title: Riddle vs. Sheamus- Riddle is becoming a joke on Raw and he is not helping the integrity of the US Title with his laid back surfer dude persona. Sheamus will knock some sense in him and get a push as the US champion.
Prediction: Sheamus beat Riddle to win the US Title
Steel Cage Match: Brawn Strowman vs. Shane McMahon- This has to be punishment to Brawn for something that he may have done or not have done. Shane is not the same wrestler than he was 10 years ago and it is a waste of a cage match.
Prediction: Brawn Strowman beat Shane McMahon
Raw Womens Title: Asuka vs. Rhea Ripley- This could be the sleeper match of Wrestlemania. An intriguing battle between the strength and aggressive nature of Rhea Ripley and the submission striking style of Asuka. This will be a good match that is too close to call.
Prediction: Asuka beat Rhea Ripley
The Fiend vs. Randy Orton- I will pass on this match
Prediction: No prediction
Main Event: Triple Threat Match for Universal Title- Roman Reigns vs. Edge vs. Daniel Bryan- The wild card is how will Bryan interject himself in the match. His skills will come in handy in this encounter. Edge will be determined as ever to win the Universal Title and is hungry to be in the final spotlight at the end of the night. Meanwhile, Roman wants to prove that he is the head of the table and is the tribal chief. This will be Roman’s crowning moment in his career if he gets the win.
Prediction: Edge beat Daniel Bryan to win the Universal Title.
The journey down the real road to Wrestlemania is over. I wish all the competitors the best of luck at Wrestlemania and in conclusion the curiosity as to the crowd size will be the hot topic entering the event. I hope that their is a decent crowd for the event for the sake of Pro Wrestling.
